Where Speed Meets Endurance
Triathletes demand speed, precision, and comfort, for peak race performance. The Amanyar 1.0 Disc combines optimised aerodynamics, the torsional strength required for effective power transfer, and the adjustability to achieve and maintain race-winning pace over varied distances.
Built to go the Distance
The Amanyar 1.0 has been designed with up to 2.25 litres of fuel and hydration storage, reducing the requirement for an in race stop, gaining you critical seconds. 500ml can be stored in the aerodynamic downtube bottle and up to 750ml behind the saddle. The remaining 1 litre is integrated inside the top-tube, utilising a bladder and hydration tube for handsfree hydration, whilst remaining in the aero position.
Engineered for your Toughest Race
The design of the Amanyar 1.0 positions the rider in an aggressive aerodynamic riding position to further reduce drag and improve efficiency.
Applying the EPS and latex bladder moulding technique, we have constructed the frameset utilising the trusted Toray T800 Japanese carbon fibre, reinforced by Toray T1000 in key areas such as the headtube and bottom bracket to obtain the optimal strength to weight ratio. The result is a stiff, highly responsive riding experience that provides the rigidity to transfer raw watts into forward momentum, preventing critical power loss caused by frame flexing during pedalling. Elves Bikes commitment to continual improvement has led to the use of a T47 threaded bottom bracket for ease of building and ongoing maintenance.
Exceptional Handling and Choice
With Triathlons ranging from a sprint to an ultra-ironman, it’s challenging to find a “one bike fits all” solution. To support this, the Amanyar 1.0 is available with a choice of two adjustable aerobars, the Orome AeroRay Sport TT bar, or alternatively the AeroRay Pro Ergonomic TT bar. This aids triathletes to design their cockpit to their specification, in accordance with the individual race conditions and distance.
The modern design, with a modular stem and bar combination, provides a compact integrated-looking cockpit, offering exceptional handling around corners and responsiveness when standing on short climbs. Both the AeroRay Sport, and AeroRay Pro, come in two bar width sizes (400mm is the standard inclusion & 420mm is a by request option) with an adjustable stem, front and back handlebar extensions, and left and right adjustable forearm rests. This optimal riding position allows triathletes to draw their upper body and arms both forwards and inwards into a tucked aero position, which ultimately minimises wind-distance drag, especially at high speeds.
